Veganism is such a first world phenomenon; I respect the concept, but you can't take these people anywhere. I was going to suggest Latin America due to cheap rice and beans everywhere, but it's cooked right with the meat, so no go. By the way, I've been cooking black beans in the pan after I fry up the bacon, it's badass. Crumble the bacon in, add some garlic, fresh tomato, chopped onions, damn fine eatin'!

I stayed in Manabi, Ecuador last summer, and it would be a great spot for a vegan. Lots of farmland near the coast, and there were a ton of vegetable carts all around, one was just a street up from the hostel. We grilled the sh!t out of veggies with shrimp and langostino.

I was referring to the cannibalism line.
I'm a big fan of sh rooms. And Kauai and burgers.

I'll eat whatever is around on a surf trip. Food is just fuel
You got waves and goats. I'm eating goat.

You got good wavesbut just eat tofu or bugs? I'm in.

You good waves and eat people. I'm out. I would think people who eat people can't be trusted.

What if they wanted you to? Like your grandfather was super into BBQ and his dying wish was that all of his descendants BBQ'ed him and ate him at the funeral?

Got a friend in his 70s who went to a plant based diet after some health problems a few years back. Dude lost 80 lbs and is looking as good as you can for your 70s. He'd been over weight since childhood and his arteries were clogged up. Apparently by omitting all oils you can cleanse your arteries of the build up of gunk.(Not the scientific term they use). It seems it would be pretty hard to go that extreme with diet change but it worked wonders for him. Seems like with a little effort you could surf most antwhere and still eat like you want. Goodluck.
