The first board I owned was an early 80s T&C 6'2" thruster. My dad bought it at a pawn shop for next to nothing and I remember sitting for 2 hours or so with epoxy patching up all the dings and holes in the board. Well I recently pulled the nastalgia out of the closet and decided I was going to revive it. I took off all the epoxy sanded down some holes, used a filler, cut off 8-10 inches of the noseand shaped a new one, then reglassed all the spots I worked on. It looked like sh!t so I painted it black and took it to the beach. To my SUPRISE the board absolutely rips. It's about 5'4" and I'm 5'11" at 175. Anybody had an experience like mine?
