Do we really need to have political threads again to draw out other surfers who don't share our views? If I want to verbally ream some clown about their political views, I can go to any one of dozens of comment boards and proceed to blast a bunch of landlocked slack jawed kooks. Way more fun.

That's why the term "Red Pill" and the concept is so powerful.
Instead of 'Verbally Reaming' someone with a different political ideology, just try and talk to them in terms of "truth". Leave the right vs left, Trump vs Hillary out of the equation and go straight for the core principles.
More likely than not they will come to see the light.

What i'm trying to say KR is we need to find a way to come together.
Right now the world is at a crossroads and honestly if we go in the wrong direction there will be no coming back.

 

I don't believe I've ever witnessed anyone actually change their political views on a comment board...rational discourse or not. Anywhere. Certainly not here.

What I am seeing though is Clowney starting another Jonathan Livingston Sh1tting Seagull thread, and quietly giggling while a small group of political frothers take the bait.
