Surfing is pretty bad for you. Doing it will lead to eye disease, sinus and ear problems as well as an elevated risk of fatal skin cancers. For these reasons, should the government regulate it? How?

definitely should have warning labels on boards outlining the horrific dangers of this sport.

and that is just the health issues associated with surfing. There also needs to be serious regulation/banning and the sports tools due to the heavy toxicity of them.

not with a label which would have 'hold harmless' language to protect the company

We need to push for a constitutional Amendment: The Surfers Bill of Rights Act

"We find these rights inalienable.... the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of perfect waves"

I hope surfing is strictly forbidden in the USA and territories, right after I surf no more. Once I am done, it is OK to pass the laws. I will have my Senator introduce the legislation. Included will be a "shoot on sight" line item.
I am sure you girls are all in agreement??

My Senator told me that HHS can get involved with this issue and create regs to limit the severe impact that surfing has on society
