Need advice for this repair job. I had glass shatter right on the stringer line on the nose of my board. I threw some epoxy over it for a quick fix. Looks like that wasn't the right move...

The stringer never got fully covered so there is still a crack and now some yellowing after water penetrated the foam. What should be my next move?

I was thinking of cutting out the top layer foam on both sides of the stringer, using filler and then laying glass over both sides and the stringer. I want to effectively remove the yellowing but am nervous to destroy it completely.

    What do you guys think?

Worse comes to worse I'll make it a snub nose ha

I would just remove any epoxy that comes off easy, sand the area down and let it air out a little, then patch it up. No sense in slicing and dicing up the foam, it looks minute as it is. Q-cell or other filler might make it more of an eye sore IMO..

I wouldn't start cutting, either. If the cosmetics of the board are important to you, sand away the glass, and yellow foam, and expose the discolored stringer to let it completely dry out. Once it's try, build up the area with clear resin and a few layers of cloth. It will look better than filler, and be way stronger.
