This is so unbelievable! What's it their business what does surfer does? He's not endangering anyone. And What's it the cops business? I think that the reporter ought to knock on a door somewhere , enter their living room, and notice and video some morbidly obese person who is stuffing his face with potato chips and Playing video games for hours at a time, never moving off his Lazy Boy... Now that's dangerous! Cops can show up and lecture the guy on his life endangering behavior.
The same happened to me during hermien.i was down in sea island city since the winds were hard out of the north in monmout. So im getting out when this hot asian reporter aproches me. she asks how the conditions are, then asks if officials have closed the beach why are you surfing. We surf waves like this in january in 40deg water and 30 deg air temps. nobody gives a hoot then. officials closed the beach for the morons that might try to go swimming today.
