People who spend time complaining miss out on little things such as where to find waves on a 1/4 mile of he most accessible kooked out spots in the state. Look around Debbie.

I've never surfed RI unfortunately, bu have surfed all over NJ. There are some good bodyboarding waves in NJ, especially to the north, but can be found everywhere on the coast. I've also heard of some killer, hollow reef breaks in RI that most surfers don't touch because they are on the sketchy side.

Absolutely. There's some slabs. I know of a place but don't want to blow anything up. I wouldn't ride there because I like coming back in one piece.
Again, not my type of wave. Just give me a nice fast normal beach break that doesn't close out and I'm happy.

I remember a while ago someone posted a video of hurricane bill in ri.it wasn't ruggles, some other spot with tons of rocks, looked llike waimai and u would need a ski just to make it to the outside.i wish we had waves like that in jersey.the biggest spot we have that can still hold size and not close out is Manasquan inlet, and youd be out there with 200 other guys not catching one wave

why are you going from surfing to sponging? Did I miss something? Is this a joke?

Stay on the longboard and you will get more days of surfing in NJ. By the way I never knew the breaks up there were so dangerous with the rocks. Whatever you choose, good luck. I love the waves here, I really do. The only thing i hate about surfing here is that its the east coast. You have to make the best of the inconsistent swells that we get.

that depends on 2 things...what time of year you decide to paddle out there and how aggressive you are. You have to be an aggressive surfer to get waves there.

Wow, how about giving the photog some credit if you decide to post his pictures somewhere. I took that long island pic, my name is John king. This isn't the first time I've seen someone posting my **** without giving cred. Or claiming it's there's. I really have to render to start stamping and trademarking my work this **** is getting out of hand idk where you even got that picture from.

What would I be doing in LOng island and the outer banks on the same day and I'm talking about being from RI? I never said I took the photo. You posted the photo on East coast bodyboarding facebook page. Put a stamp on the photo. I could careless who took the photo. Put your name on it if you want "credit". Everytime I post a photo of a wave I don't look to see who took the photograph. I don't really care. Now that I know that "john king"(whom I will never meet nor know who he is) took the photo, what's changed? lol It's just a photo of a average beach break wave with no one even riding on it. Chill.

You sure it wan't ruggs? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjUzYMOSTU4

This doesn't look lime Waimea. It's a slab and a lot heavier. It's about 30 foot barrel breaking on rocks at shootic point in maine during Bill. Nobody on it. Biggest wave I've ever seen on ec. Look how long it takes before the lip actually hits the water. Angle is above cliffs so makes it look smaller. Solid 25 foot plus slab death pit

Man it felt good to be in a spring suit this weekend. So liberating, and so nice to flush pee out of the short legs.
