I'm heading down to Rincon March 18th through 24th and don't want to worry about the hassle of bringing a board. Anyone know of any good places to rent, or I should I suck it up and spend the $100 to bring my board on the plane?

id just pay the 100 cause you wont have to waste time looking for some crappy board that your not used to when the waves are pumping. and dont fedex your board either cause they rip the bags up and its so much money. happened to me last month going to hawaii

I rented boards from a guy named Bobby (i think) right on 413 up the hill from Sandy Beach. He charged me $100 for the week and let me swap out as many times as i wanted. Id say there were many 30-40 rental boards mostly fiberglass poly boards in good shape. So for $100 I was able to ride a ...Lost 6'2" squash on the solid days at Wilderness/Wishing Well, a 5'10" fish on the smaller but fun days, and a longboard on the day we surfed marias at knee-waist high.

He pointed out some out of the way spots for us also...

Only becuase his rental board were really good boards, i felt good giving $100 to a local rather than more than $100 to US Airways

Mar Azul in Rincon off of rt 413, as less directly answered above. It's about $25/day and boards are really nice.
