Rincon xmas till new years--where to surf/go?

    I'm heading off to Rincon and are staying at Rincon of the Seas Grand Caribbean Hotel. This is my 1st trip and I'm looking for any tips mellow surf spots where I can bring my girl friend -- she does not surf and I want to be able to paddle out w/o worrying about her. I'm looking for novice/intermediate level breaks with cool locals.
    Also any other cool things to do if you know of any...

    You dont have to blame looking for mellow waves on youre gf. If youre staying in Rincon the further south you go from the point the less the local, wave size, and reef sketchyness factors will be. Just be sure to check out the Sans Puntas bakery on 413 I think its the best bakery on the Island.

    I second that. I haven't been there in some years, but the Puntas Bakery is the bomb.
