I say don't fix it if it isn't broken. Stick with Ricurl, I got a 3/2 Dawn Patrol that I've worn for years now, lost count. It has plenty of mileage and still in good shape. Been thinking about getting the same one just the newer version. For boots I went with O'neill Pyscofreaks and I love them, very comfy and durable. I have a pair of Excel gloves and the seams fell apart after one or two sessions so they suck. I also have an O'neill Spring suite that I have had for YEARS and it's still going strong, zipper comes down sometimes but it doesn't do it too often.
Don't get me wrong, i do love the gear I have, just thought changing my booties over to Xcel. My Flashbombs def have another season, maybe two.
