    I did an art project of his famous "quasimdo" pic back in 6th grade. my mom still has that thing on the wall in her house. greatest art output in my life

    had a subscription to Surfer in the late 80s and then again in the late 90s. Internet killed magazines for most people...including me. Great mag though. John was a great photographer and artist...legendary, even when alive. RIP
