Finally day one again! 5mm comes out again to freeze bum off for some for a tasty right hole n a ok left if it's not a weekend of dodging rafts. Anyone else run the mountains spring run off? We just got a small crew here.

Nice zach! Where I go is not that big. I live on upper Colorado. Fnnnn awesome bro. Lower C gets there but peeps drown off 20 ft. Rafts. Not there yet! Send more. I'll post what I can. By the way where is it? Looks like big Though. Send it if ya got it or the balls boys. Rivers can itch the scratch an itch when the ocean is a long ways off.

I think this is that spot in Germany, not CO, but still a sick shot.

Got hooked 5 years ago on river stuff. It was like meeting ur ex that ya missed too much n couldn't forget. All I got to say is, snow melt run off is great but cold like surfing in Lake Superior in winter or July.

I have always wanted to raft the river out there, as my grandfather once had, as well as my father. Someday. Never thought of surfing it though.

Sick pics Zach... The first one is total gnar, and as for the second, I have never seen someone shredding the Eisbach like that. My girlfriend is from Munich... I'm pretty sure that wave is somewhere in my future.

I tried my hand at surfing one of the river waves in Montreal (when I was a much more incompetent surfer). It was impossible to swim against the current, you just let it take you, then paddle hard as f*ck to slow down enough to catch the wave. Like the reverse of paddling down a face. Super fun with a harmless sketch factor.

This beast though... imagine what it's like after you get worked ...
