As most of you know Cable is expensive. With Interment , TV and Phone you can spend up to almost 200 a month . I was searching for alternatives and between Apple TV, Amazon , and other I Went with ROKU . It was 50 dollars to buy the small interface that plugs into a usb port if you have one on your tv or you can get the bigger box version. You can integrate you Netflix or Hulu and IT has tons of channels and Free movies . I got the Surfing Network for 80 dollars for the whole year and it has tons of awesome Surf Movies from all types of surfing. Its defiantly worth checking out if your tired of high cable bills. All I pay for is my internet and the basic cable for local news and events. Its cut me bill down to 60 dollars a month
Love the roku. Good choice my man. Awesome resolution too. The independent networks are awesome, solid alt new sources.
Yeah Im really happy with is . It has more stuff to watch than my normal comcast cable . I only watch Discovery , Hockey, Surfing , and Nat Geo on cable
My folks have the Roku and love it. We have the apple tv and it works well for netflix and hulu and stuff like that.
I have no roku & no tv, by choice. 3 yrs now without the doob toob. Not missing it one iota. I did rig up a computer to a 42" screen so I can watch stuff like the ASP live stream contests in HD on a bigger screen, it's great. Back to your regularly scheduled programming....
I tend to watch sports , and mostly Discovery & Nat Geo . I don't try to watch Crap TV. If anything I watch maybe a hour tops during the day
