LOL Y'all missed a couple of em. So what the fvck is this "Please don't subvert the word censor" crap? Do y'all get $$$ every time the word censor kicks in? This place sure has gone down the tubes. That crap with Adnim dumpin his personal life on us, then banning everyone... So lame.
WTFO? This STILL hasn't been resolved? We can send spacecraft to Uranus, take satellite photos of Kim Jong Uns butt hairs (or lack thereof) from outer fvckin space, and even get Kelly Slater to finally realize the tasty frozen slushy goodness of Dirty Jersey, but can't get your dadgum aviator fixed? This place is run by amateurs. No, wait. I apologize. That was an insult to amateurs the world over. Fugazis, the whole lot. Freakin fugazis.
I have finally achieved greatness. I am the proud recipient of an infarction. Reckon I'll have to be civil going forward. Or go back to what I was doing. I guess this is Junior High School now.
Dear Mr. Swellinfo, You didn't answer my previous query. Do y'all get paid each time the word censor is activated? Otherwise, who cares? Is there one member, even one, that cares? This ain't the Boy Scouts website. If all we wanted was 4th grade level censored talk, you know we could all go to them other surf predictin websites. Your forecast ain't no better than theirs. It really ain't. We used to come here because we could play. If you're gonna be the same as everyone else, why should we come here? With all due respect.
Nice Paulie, that looks like a damn good time. We just had the 'Roar to the Shore' event in Wildwood back in September. That was right in the heart of the tropical wave cycle we had too. Just an all-around good month. Hope you made out OK with Harvey dude.
The rally is a good time for sure. We have about 50,000 people living here. About 500,000 come in for the rally. Most of em are on the east end of the island, the old historic end, where I live. It gets crazy this weekend. Some of the most awesome creations you'll ever see are thunderin around my street. I made it ok through Harvey. Usually Galveston gets the worst of these things. This time it was a big rain event, not so much wind and surge. Galveston actually had less rain than almost everywhere else. We had a foot of water on my street for a day, but it drained fast. My house is 10 feet up on pilings, so no worries. Most of my work is in Houston, and that has really slowed down. That's the bad part. No trabajo, no dinero. Got some fairly good waist to chest surf a day before and after. During, it was just sideways OH gnar. I only saw one dude out, WAY out, on a LB. Could barely see him from the beach. LB was prolly the only way to get that far outside that day.
But seriously... Well, semi seriously... All of my rowdiness happened all at once. I got my infarction, and behaved since then. Then, I got locked out. So, if and when I get set free, I'll try to behave. I always wondered what it looked like to be locked out. Now I know. Y'all still need to give singer dogg back his aviator. But I won't cuss about it.
In defense of the half million, give or take, bikers that showed up... This prolly didn't happen. While there was MOST DEFINITELY some big time partyin goin down, the dudes (and ladies) that come here have a solid rep for not trashin our little isle. Just good times and motorsickles as far the eye can see. I think one dude went over the side of a bridge and hadda be fished outa the water, but the Lone Star Rally usually goes down pretty smooth. Nobody got kicked outa Galveston to my knowledge.
I’m still here. Coming to you from Western Canada! Where it’s 7 degrees Fahrenheit and No surf in site! I didn’t even mean for that to rhyme.
There are more arrests at the Wildwood Fireman's convention then there are at the Roar to the Shore Bike weekend.
No doubt. It was a righteous weekend for the Rally. As far back as I can remember, they always had at least one day of lousy weather. This time it only rained a little Friday mornin as the earliest vendors were settin up. After that it was 80 in the daytime and 72 at night. Clear skies and big ol' full moon Sat night. My yard was lit up big time from it. Some times stuff really works out good. Perfect.
Oh, one more thing... In case y'all are thinkin 80 was a little too hot. We had smooth 10 - 15 mph breezes comin in off the Gulf the whole time. And the ladies don't have ta hide all that stuff when it's nice outside... It was.
At least I have my dignity, and a pair of stones. Last I heard, my stolen avitar was up for bids on the dark web, reserve price north of five dorrar, holler holler. You ***** ass hall monitor moderator avitar thieves, I hope you're proud of your petty theft.
