Just noticed that Surfline did a Spot Check Expo with Sid Abruzzi doing an audio narration, who else could it have been. Over twenty pages with photos that has Sid describing each picture and any surfers. Like "The Package" says, it only gets epic every one to two years, but is worth the visit to see the East Coast's top Point Break get 15-20 foot faces. http://www.surfline.com/surf-news/spot-check-ruggles_118026/
i did the 'tour' of the breakers this summer. while everybody else was oohing and ahhing about the abundant wealth; i was thinkin "look at that wave in the front yard. now THATS rich."
metard said you took a dump in the west wing toilet that doesn't even have running water. True or untrue?
I hope it doesn't bring more peeps it's already a zoo. He legalized surfing there so he can do whatever he wants to. it was a follow up story for the Sandy repairs on the cliffwalk
That's what I was thinking. Never surfed there but betweeen the clif walk, rocks and the wave itself I don't see too many noobs paddling out there much less making it to the lineup. I know there is no way I would be out there on 15-20 ft days!
word.ruggles is a spot I have to surf before I die.its like the eastcoast mavericks.its got to be a big cane swell tho,im not crossing stateliness for 10footers,need 20foot faces atleast.pretty crazy too with the big mansions.im guessing theres some hard hitters in the lineup, might have some serious regulating. thinking about it,what state is ruggles in?shows how good they did with exposing the spot,i seriously have no clue what state its in and where in the state it is.
