Hey you still trying to sell that Dumpster Diver Zero? If I remember correctly yours was in great condition -if I'm thinking of the right one. I rode a DD while in Nica, and although everyone was on my case about the size and volume (think it was a 6'2" or 6'1" and generally believed to be far to "fat" for the H to OH conditions) I loved that board. It got me into barrels and gave me the umph to glide into mushier point waves. I can see why people utilize it as a small summer-garbage wave board, but surprisingly it preformed well in more critical conditions even though it was technically too big for me.
I am holding on to it for now. Yeah, it's in great condition. I actually have two, same dimensions. I have ridden that thing in mush, OH and dumping shore break, works in all of it! The dims on mine are 5'10"/20/2.5. Def one of favorite boards. Second would have to be a V3 that picked up from MrCoop. That thing is awesome, too,
I don't blame you for holding onto it. The Dumpster Diver is a great all-around board. After my Nica trip I came back DETERMINED to get one, unfortunately the price (ouch) and other financial obligations conspired against me. Give me a heads up if you feel like getting rid of one in the future -I've reached my allotment of board purchases for a while...but that doesn't mean the lady won't let another board-buy slide in a few months...
I'll def keep ya in mind if I decide to move it! After I rode my first Diver, I fell in love. Then I saw someone in Norfolk selling one with the same dims, I was like, I need to have that as a back up! HA HA So we did a day trip to VB. I bought a brand new board from Generator from WRV, then went and picked up the DD from someone on CL who was moving out of the country. Not a bad day! LOL
I rented a rusty stump last year in CR. Rode it all week in knee high to overhead. It was a fun board. Lower volume then the dwart but moved well in all conditions. Id say take a look at it
