Anyone else like to play golf when the water is flat? The bug bit me 10 years ago and I have rarely met a surfer that also plays golf. U.S. got off to a great start and now team Euro is making a comeback. This is the only tournament I like to watch. Good format and team play.
I'm not a golfer per say, but I do own some clubs and my wife and I hit the driving range and play a round of 18 every now and then.
I wouldn't call what I do "golf,"... but yea, I like to get out there and have some fun. But watching it on TV doesn't hold my interest for long.
I play quite a bit, but not as much this year with the kid. The Ryder Cup is awesome. It's cool watching golf in a team format
Yea, I use to play all the time. For a solid decade I was playing all the time (especially in Hawaii). I basically went from a 10 handicap to not playing. Have not played in over a year....just lost interest. The Ryder Cup is fun to watch a bit here and there but to sit through it all is impossible...I get to where I want to go do something....just can't sit and watch for long I guess.
I played a lot when I was younger (would "Dawn Patrol" the links before it got crowded) and still enjoy it occasionally...I spend much more time riding waves these days. As far as watching, I like checking out 4 Majors and the Ryder Cup. And like others have stated, the Ryder Cup is a cool format.
I like to just put it on and go about my business. I don't sit in watch. When I hear cheers I go watch.
Holly crap...can't believe that post is still there...I use to play all the time, and now I work in the golf industry and never play.
Surf and turf. I play a lot. It's a good way to pass the flat days of summer. Plus, what other sport, except for bowling, can you drink beer the whole time? Moderators must be asleep at the switch, but damn that's a good laugh metard. I hope you're still with us tomorrow.

So on a friday night, around 9 o'clock, the mods are watching. Interesting. Making that determination by the timing of nynj #9/124lyfe's posts, metard had to post some time around 9:20 and was banned by 9:42. The mods are on it. Do they ever leave? Austin, is this a f/t job? How do you kill, that which has no life?
