well, it looks like there is more SW in the swell than anticipated, so size is looking smaller. Late day is still the best call, but it doesn't like enough S fetch to allow for the size we were originally expecting.
yeah, that's what i was thinking. the mon. county forecast looks like it may be a bit overstated in terms of size. i'm not sure if it'll be worth running down after work. i'm out at 4, prob get to the beach by 5. high tide is around 6. not sure if it will be worth it. some sites claim offshore around 4:30 - but will there be enough swell? that is the question. camera is looking small..
should be good tomorrow. it's tonight that is the worry. if it's waist +, i'm going to try to surf. just not sure if it will have the juice.
Professor Swellinfo, my injury just got the doctors pass and I am free to surf. Would consider making a trip for a DP tomorrow. Even if there is size, is much breaking in MD at high tide these days? Cams look weak right now...
Yea it definitely got better as the afternoon went on, but not as stellar as predicted. Oh well worth getting wet.
Yah I got out around the 20 something streets in the evening and even with the high tide, the size came up and allowed for some long rides right into the beach.. pretty fun
