    I surfed oceanside harbor 3 days and I didn't get any bad vibes at all, some guys I talked to in the parking lot were really nice and helpful.

    oceanside harbor? hahah....well that explains why...Try a little more south...like a mile....But, if you can surf and respect the locals then you shouldn't have a problem anywhere. It's just people that don't respect the line up and people who cannot surf that get it.
