    look at that dismal forecast!

lets end this flat spell with some surf sacrifice!

take old or new surf stuff and burn it in your back yard. the more valuable the items the more effective the sacrifice. freshly emptied beer/malt liquor bottles smashed into the fire help as well.

    now get to it!

True. I've got a 5/4 and just bought a 3/3 that will probably get me thru this winter temps down to about 43. I'm thinking we are in a La Nina pattern this winter but I'm sure some meteorologist or climatologist who trolls the board will correct my assumptions. I didnt look at the .gif but if that purple blob and surrounding area is current then PR will be getting biiiiggggggg.

Call me a troll, then... but you're right. So far it looks like a relatively weak La Nina for this winter. This usually means fewer typical Nor'Easter type coastal storms for us, and more short period frontal boundary related south windswells.

Yea, this time last year we were under about 1ft snow/ice and I can only count 1 NE'ster so far. It's been an unusually steady fall and early winter for the delmarva minus this flat spell thats been going on for about 2 weeks. Coupled with warmer temps and I like warm weather. I'd take a good snow if it would bring some solid surf but you're probably right and the south swells are entirely out of our window down here.

I just doused my beater in lighter fluid and threw a match at it... but it's so waterlogged it refused to burn.

Historically, it won't work unless you sacrifice your favorite board.

    U need help.

    1st, get a GF.

    2nd, find another hobby.

3rd, be friendly to OUR environment and if u r a “REAL” surfer, that means stop burning **** that doesn’t have to be? Seriously, ur a kook?

    Last, get a GF.

Flat spells allows us people from planet earth some time to get chores done and book a ticket south. Do you have your ticket?

Enough of your witch craft weirdo activities...

who needs a girlfriend when you can breath the fumes from a burning wetsuit? and dont worry, i love the environment. i take all the burnt surfboard scraps, broken glass and melted wetsuit rubber and return them to their rightful place in the ocean :)

Real surfers are about leaving the biggest carbon footprint possible. Screw the environment, burn the globe with jet fuel!!!
