wow. nice setup across the entire southern delaware. the swell yesterday had good shape and direction (small) but it is rare to pull up and surf anywhere you want in southern del. i won't mention any spots because 350 days of the year this area still sucks a$$...but south of the inlet was as fun as summer can sometimes offer. i imagine the setup will change as it will shift back to shorey, i just can't believe we were dredged out and now it's breaking almost as good as last summer. i miss the jetties but now there is some new spots doing there thing. have fun.

ya, that last big northeast did some good for the bars in delmarva. Plus on those steep south swell, its typical to see long peeling rights. But, I agree, the bars are good.

    Fenwick bars

What are the odds of the Fenwick bars sticking around through August? With the South Summer currents, prolly not too good.

the sandbars in fenwick will likely deteriorate as the summer goes on. But, typically the areas that have jetties do much better with the summer time longshore current. Whereas the sandbars in Ocean City/Fenwick get worse, with no structures.
