where are you, myrtle beach?

 

it was waist high most of the morning. you can't expect any more from a short lived windswell.

 

south carolinians should just look at the wb forecast and drop that by a foot and a half everytime...wb and spots near were chest plus... going out for some more barrels now

 

well, not sure where pfox was checking, but according to this photo the swellinfo forecast for Myrtle Beach was dead on.

we won't be counting on pfox for any reliable reports any time soon.

 

what happened to the myrtle beach surf report that doug was doing?

 

douog probably got tired of reporting ankle to knee slop everyday all winter.

 

Had a few friends who were out early this am on PI, not necassarily at the pier, waist-stomach some chest sets. The report was accurate as it gets. It dropped to knee to thigh, occ waist this afternoon, clean and inconsistent later on as well. Good call admin, I am banging my head cause I heard it was fun for a couple hours and my tired arse was snoozing til late morning and missed it.

 

premature investigation this morning. Spent the good part of the day with pre easter in laws visiting and heard how the surf jumped up right when they pulled in the driveway....almost cried.

 

i checked at 6 am and zilch- went back 2 1/2 hours later and the report was dead on- caught chest high w/ a couple of head high set waves on the SUP- SE pawleys- very nice !!!

He is very accurate for softball forecast.
