Does anybody think this swell's going to die the night before?

I personally do think its going to show up. I'm planning some dawn patrol sunday...

I'm no guru... but here's what it looks like to me:

DP Sunday is your best bet, but I think it will be very small, and not likely to hang in there all day. Could have more south in it than predicted. Once again this low and associated front has a decent path, but never deepens until well offshore. My advice is to bring your log or groveler along with your shorboard. Dawn will be mid tide on the outgoing. Winds look to be iffy and spot dependent.

For some reason the surf gods are pissed... guess we have to sacrifice something.

I think people will probably surf pine cones out on Long Island.... the only thing longer then the rights at pine cones are the lefts at pine cones... the only thing you need to know is how to find it.
