just dug out the wife's minivan, took it to the in laws and dug them out. Wind and snow is sideways. Checked the beach and as you can imagine its a washing machine.
hahahaha there is no way the state parks will be open, it usually takes them about 1 day per inch of snow to dig themselves out. I've seen cape just literally wait until the snow melts before opening.
That sucks... Here else is good to go? I have benn only living in the area for about a year now. I am from New Jersey - LBI and Mani crew... I herd the Rehoboth has been breakin, but I never saw it break before.
Unfortunately I'm stuck in North Jersey (way north like near NYC), and we haven't gotten even a snowflake let alone the 3-6 inches we were suppposed to get.
Shoveled out the wifes car , My car I just dug around it and drove it out. Cleared off the walkway and salted them . Here in Cape May its not gonna stop till 12 Sunday and we are supose to get 1-2 inches every hour
I just braved the blizzard and walked over to the Ventnor Pier and it's actually Somewhat surfable... But the wind is so bad it almost pushed me and my friend over!
Gotta go shovel agian . Let Round 2 begin. At this rate I will have to wake up at 5am and start diggin if I wanna get to the beach .
couldnt you put salt on your drive way? and i thought you have a lr with 4wd shouldnt that just get you out?
I have a rock / Dirt driveway. I have no issues with the LR geting out at all . It keeping all the walk way clear and I shovle my neighbors house too cause they are elderly I finally went out in the back yard I have about 3 & 1/2 foot of snow back there . thats what seperates me from my surfboards. If you knew how Lower Townships plows there roads you would know why it hard getting around here.
pisssssssssssssss just finished shoveling out my car, when the god damn plows came by and boxed me in. @!&*^!@^ (im in philly atm)
OCMD streets are hilarious.. it's just packed down ice right about now.. Im not sure this town owns plows, seems like they use bulldozers and front end loaders for snow. It was honestly all rain last night and up until this morning, then it got colder and the snow started sticking to everything. It finally all stopped around 8pm or so. Got the ol' Bronco II geared up and ready to rock for tomorrow
