I hope everyone got out today. Super clean 5 hour session today. Super crowded, but everyone (except those sweeping SOBs) was awesome. Everyone was chatting, seasoned folks giving new guys and gals some solid tips, loud spectator-like cheers today for everyone, for absolutely no reason. Good group considering there were 2 surfers per 10 feet of water going down the whole line. Not a single bad apple in the bunch. Got to a point where I saw people swapping boards that didn't know one another prior to the day. Weird day indeed, 50 degrees in December with beastly surfers helping and cheering newbies (and vise versa). Not my best surfing, but certainly my best day of surfing to date. I hope ya'll scored, and if you were in the place I was, you'll know it the minute you see this post. Now...let's not talk about the flatspell that's about to haunt us this coming up week.
Happy you got some- Belmar was firing too- as usual. 23ft bombs. Nothing new. I was kinda bored- didn't even paddle out. Did a few sets on the bench press but that's about it. Retiring now to get some pizzas with gruvi at gunnys.
shotted the pier a couple times with the bros, then this one kook got dropped in on me, had to jab him with the kelp knife.
