Of course they won the game. I agree the Seahawks made a dumb decision not to run it but the Pats still had to make the play to intercept the pass. And that was a great play for an unknown player to make in that spot. Give credit when it's due and quit looking for excuses

 

I don't think so, but I recognize hyperbole. Let me preface this with the fact I am not a fan of either team, just a casual observer. Seahawks had a gift two plays earlier sitting on Kearses lap, and more so 2 weeks prior. I give credit to both teams, and both "deserved to win". Patriots surgically sliced down the field and made numerous plays, and scored 4 TDs against a very good defense. The Seahawks have ballers that made some big yardage plays which kept the game even. Most of those plays were defended well, but the game comes down to playmakers making plays. Carroll's decision to throw on 2nd down will be questioned, but you can't take anything away from the rookie who jumped the route. That was a big time play that was the result of preparation and anticipation.

Football fans had a very good game to watch, that came down to the last ~20 seconds. I think that is what viewers with out a rooting interest appreciate.
