Doesn't sound like the ones they already have are going anywhere though, so they'll still be there a while.

Gimme a fukkking break. "We are going to respond to the attitudinal change that we helped to create." The height of bullshiiite with just a hint of fukkkkking arrogance. The entire piece was cut from the same cloth.

He's trying to get their numbers back up, like every other zoo in the country – and that is all they are is a marine zoo.

We are not talking about an attitudinal change in your customers: we are talking about living a moral business and personal life, all day, every day, in every endeavor. Try creating that attitude.

There is no accountability here at all. They have been told by biologists for at least 50 years that this is not doing any good, and, in fact, is probably doing great harm. Their argument is that we are providing the environment that permits humans to study and learn about another species – the same argument that all zoos utilize. At this stage of the human evolutionary scale, I think that we are pretty well past that.

And, as far as I am concerned, "Planet of the Apes" has done more to create the attitudinal change than all the tortureworlds & zoos combined.
