    i wonder..the boy that got bit on folly this year was also lower leg,foot more than likely shallow water i wonder if there is some type of change in certain shark feeding,what they are feeding on etc to cause this..having lived in charleston almost my entire life i dont ever remember bites that low and in that shallow of water

    Back to the original topic at hand. Thanks for the advice my dudes. As I stated, the ER hooked up the wound with the crazy glue stuff. I will probably sit out until Friday when the peak comes. Any advice on covering two injured fingers and keeping them water tight? The doc told me to stay out of the ocean for 7 days until the glue disintegrates. That isn't going to work. Only thing off the top of my head I can think of, is using one of the restaurant/chef finger condom things. They are to cover cuts on fingers while guys touch food, but I think if I rock two of those and then use waterproof tape to seal the ends up by the knuckles...

    Anyone?

    That's probably the best you can do, just get some antibiotics and start taking them now and don't stop until you're healed up just in case
