Michael Phelps for gold. if they are smart, they would focus on south Cali n all the whack that's going down there with the sharks. a lil investigation
We supposedly had a bump here last Sunday. A bunch of surfers scrambled out of the water. A couple of guys said they saw something, but no true confirmation yet though.
I was freediving the mouth of the Palm Beach Inlet at high tide last Sunday. Six large tarpon (80 - 150# plus) kept swimming big circles around me along with a random hot snorkeling chick with a selfie stick and a go pro. I started to swim with them, it was soooo cool. Then I started thinking, what likes to eat tarpon? Bullsharks! The water was so clear I just kept swimming with them, with one eye looking into the depths. When we got out, the wahine thanked me for "bumming" my dive flag, I told her anytime. I had to bite my tongue before I got myself into trouble againne.
That was going thru my mind, but the water was 100' vis and the vibe was good so I stayed and played for a bit. It's been sooo boring, I almost wanted to see a shark.
I did a one mile ocean swim, preceded by a one mile paddle. Followed by a lunch of seafood. Opening day.
