anybody ever ship a surf board cross country thru UPS or fed ex or some other service?

is there a cheap way to do it? Is there a company that will not damage the goods?

hit me up if ya know or have done this before

Rusty shipped my board via cargo on an airplane. I just had to go to the airport cargo area to pick it up. no matter which carrier you choose you better package that thing up good. I had one go fedex and arrive with a nasty rail smoosh.

    Depends on the size.

I just shipped a 6' fish to Ventura, CA via FedEx for about $115

I have received 5 boards from Cali on Amtrak train, think they charged $40-$60 total but that was 3 years ago.

Longboards need to go freight and that's expensive, plus you need an account.

I had a 5'8" fish shipped from CA to MD via greyhound bus once, it was pretty inexpensive but took a few weeks.
