maybe some time in the future people will find these and wonder what they're doing in the middle of a desert.

Wrong!! We do!! Ever hear of California??
There is a lake in southern cal approaching Mexico line which has been essential for avian migration that is almost dry now, has been slowly drying up for 20-30 years. Won't be long now and you will find mexican skeletons, bushels of weed, cocaine, old Mercury outboards, sunken dinghies, dead ICE officers, along with millions of dead birds.

    o barry

I suppose sarcasm is sometimes difficult to detect in the written wourde.

I live in SE Florida. It is a land that has been carved and dammed and diked and canaled for decades for agricultural and development purposes. I am well aware of the folly of such pursuits.

It is sad the total lack of respect humans have toward our only planet.

Yup on the lack of respect thing.
    Invest in oil companies!! hahahaha!!

ps...I knew you were being sarcastic. I just wanted to show off how smart I am.
