depending on your preference, the epoxy tuflites are going to be the strongest out there, almost 75% stronger and 30% lighter. However like with all things, when put under extreme circumstances they too with crack and break, but it is much much harder to do so.

looking at dirtythirty's icon, i find his response to be a bit of a surprise. i rented a tuflite glenn pang in costa rica earlier this summer and was pretty happy with its performance. it paddled and turned well. i expected it to feel dead, but it had a nice lively feel to it. previous renters had smacked the rocks with it, and the repairs were ugly, but the board was still very much intact.

so, a tuflite that is a pretty close match to your old board might be the ticket on those dumping-dredging-breaking-too-close-to-shore-but -i'm-going-out-anyway kind of days that we all live for.

have fun and be safe this weekend. . . .

yea what the guy above said... I own an epoxy santa cruz and after a solid year of surfing theres no pressure dings or anything. It is also very light. They do float differently however. I noticed when you have speed, youre flying, when you dont, youre almost sinking. So its your call, but I would recommend one.

Mikey- I do not like riding pop outs at all, i hate the feel associated with epoxy, but they are very strong and very light. I just do not like the feel of the boards. cant disagree with facts and he asked for the strongest and they are. I work at a shop and it is rare to get a tuflite in for repair unless something crazy happened.
