I still think a shop is there in a pinch when you're far from home or need something and if they don't bend over backwards to help they are kooks.it's what separates us from everybody else and their shops.also,if you've got a million boards stacked with all kinds of gear,luggage.etc. far from home **** can disappear and thank God the local shop is there just in case so you don't miss waves.fins get removed at times,screws loosen and fall out at times,gloves/boots can rip/tear,etc..
Should have just went FINLESS bro... its the new/old way of surfing anyways- watch in 10 yrs everyone will go finless- you could have been the first! lol
