    Somebody probably said this already but, Dawn Patrol, why not move a little close to the beach. Make your commute longer and your ocean commute shorter.

    I love a good drive before work. Helps me prepare for having my dreams ****ted on for 8 hours.

    I just sold my place. Im buying closer to the water and continuing to rent where I work. Split my time...

    congrats

    working from home is great, stay on that ride till the wheels fall off
    save gas for surfing

    and racking up nooners with the wife is great

    Thanks nemesis, I appreciate the comments. Definitely looking forward to nooners w/wifey. I think I'll dig it because I can do DP each morning and be back in time to work, and even hit it again after work if I want. My wife may get stir crazy and need to work around people eventually but we'll see how it goes, I personally don't like the office enviroment anymore, too many morons (that's for you o barry)

    also use your pto in 2 or 4 hour increments,never take a whole day
    you will always at least check email, so stretch that into at least a half day

    only take a full day if your driving to Smyrna or sebastian

    This is huge...surf all morning...go in at 11...you've only burned three hours of leave. E-mails/phone calls returned by late morning...you just surfed your ass off and for all intents and purposes you didn't miss a beat OTJ.
