So, I was just watching a couple cams down here. Its about waist high right now as I am leaving work. Almost high tide.

I move on to the main surf cam here on the island. Well, it's broken... Not broken, but the mounting is loose, so it is hanging down off the roof and pointed right on someone's time share balcony... This could be some serious entertainment. It's empty chairs and kids toys right now, but later, HEY-YO!

    Ill keep yooz posted.

That is a sure sign it is going off all time and the hard core Hilton Head local crew has dismantled the cam to keep the Tybee Island Boyz (TIB) from invading the epic swell.

Haha, no doubt. That actually happened during about 10 attempts of surfline installing a cam on Sunset Cliffs. Every single time, it took about 12 hours before people isolated the location and "removed" it.

Its a shame that there is an active one right now because I know where it is....

I had a run-in with the Tybee Boyz once, but luckily Sand Blaster and I had been in the parking lot listening to Darius Rucker, crushing a case of Beast Ice when they approached. Seconds later, we were destroying them in a theatrical song and dance-off in the parking lot at Burkes. By the time we got into our choreographed re-enactment of "GLORY", they had all surrendered their boards and belongings, packed into a Prius and peeled out. Blaster and I lit their boards on fire on the beach, crushed a mason jar full of moon shine and called it a day.

Needless to say, I don't think they will be coming back over that SC border any time soon.
