Why would Surfline even run this article? http://www.surfline.com/surf-news/b...gle-parent-day-in-the-life-nick-rozsa_121594/ For the average dude who knocks-up a chick that bails when the child is born, he's screwed. Life is a nightmare. Kudos to this guy for accepting responsibility and being a dad, but he should start prepping himself for real-life soon. That surf career will be gone in 5 years, sponsors will be gone, and the cash flow will stop. Then what? Here's the lesson you should have learned by reading this kids: Wear a condom.
Slide 11 Translation "11:17AM Out and about with my kid and his white-trash mom who's already drinking Natty Lite Ice from a keg cup."
what he said. kids - if you only understand ONE THING in life make it this. NOTHING affects your quality of life more than this advice. when i read that piece i was floored. is everybody in california so 'hollywood' that they believe a single parent can do so effortlessly AND maintain a career as a pro surfer?!?!?!?! fact is you can't and if you read between the lines you'll note that mommy is helping him out. cause he'd be screwed without her and possibly even worse off.
.....and....later on in life......after someone else cleaned and raised and paid for the child.....she "re-enters" its life.
so, does every retard out there just recklessly come in chicks? what happened to pulling and praying? condoms are kinda the pits
Or this, I suppose. Be sure to have solid skills in the stunt diq department though, before this is your preferred method.
This a-hole is everything wrong with America. Get a real job, you d!ck. How about waking up on Christmas morning and thinking of your 5 yr old ripping through presents, and being happily content with NOT putting yourself first, you selfish looser. ARGH, these types of people are not role models. It's a d!ckslap to the parents out there working our assess off to provide for our own kids, while douches like this guy pawn his kid off to his grandparents- who are retired? collecting? whatever- to go surf 3 times a day, or only when the conditions are perfect. Only in California, I guess...
woah, lookout! what have I done by posting this? i surfed on Christmas morning...Post gift unwrapping sesh by the kids. >
Good luck Nick. Dude is a helluva good athlete. Wish I too could live in Oxnard and wear my pajamas all day whilst hitting multiple surf sessions and pick up fresh cues. Glad they did not go with the "options to condoms". I am assuming you did not mean birth control pills. That baby boy is worth any discomfort or sacrifice in their precious quality of life. When you have one of your own you will understand.
There is not a single parent in the world who does it all by themselves. As a person who's been a single dad I know for sure that it is not possible. Everyone needs help.
Shoot, even parents that are still together need help. My sister and her BF / Baby Daddy rely heavily on my parents and my brother / sister in-law rely heavily on my wife's parents. It's sad to see how at 36 - 40 years old they are still going to Mommy and Daddy to take care of them and their responsibilities.
thought this as well guys is a tool or VERY immature not trying to be with his kid Christmas morning, although loser has 1 o
It's the ever growing demands of time and availability fprced upon us by Western Civilization. In my own time I watched the degredation of the extended family down to the nuclear family. My sister's a single mom and my parents help out a lot, as do I, I love my niece and I love being an Uncle...but i refuse to give any more bodies to this machine, hence why I'm trying not to breed. I didn't read aboot this guy, those are just thoughts in general, but it does take a village, or at least it should.
post-gift unwrapping christmas magic is totally fine to go surfing (i didn't mean to indite anyone else. i just got a little pissed after reading that this single dad works harder than any other single parent in california. ya right! more like, this single dad works harder than any other single parent at putting off reality
