    Barry, thank you for all the medical knowledge. I too suffer with chronic sinusitis, and suspect I may have sports induced asthma. Luckily, once i get over the initial gasping for breath, natural adrenaline kicks in and I'm usually good for a full session. Occasionally, I feel short of breath after a getting hit with a big hold down. Oh, no wait, I actually feel short of breath after holding down a big hit. btw, i think we might know each other irl.

    If you suspect you have asthma, and have not been worked-up properly for it by an MD, I would definitely talk to your MD next visit. Even patients with mild asthma can have an attack sufficient to kill them. In fact the death rate in mild asthma differs little from moderate or even severe asthma. The reasons for that remain unclear to experts. There is no need in todays world to take that risk.
