BTW boys....skateboarding IS a crime if the laws specify it as so.
Now, that may offend you, but get ready for the same type of laws to be applied to surfing, as the crowds thicken.
That's life, boys, like it or not.

Well, it's kid of a figure of speech, kind of like "Black lives matter". Last I checked, all lives matter, unless I don't like you.

A coward, in the context of this thread, is more akin to badmouth police officers here, and not do so to their face.
You have been badmouthing cops here. Bet you never have, never will do so, to their face.
Sounds to me as if you do not have the intelligence or intestinal fortitude to do so.

I did. I also took out two of them before the backup cavalry showed up and beat me half to death. As Lazy E pointed out, you ain't gonna win that battle.
Looking back, do I blame the cops for what happened? Absolutely not. I was completely out of control, in a berserker rampage. However, that was 24 years ago. Cops today probably would have just shot my azz and been done with it. White drugged-up maniacs lives don't matter. However, it's not just the blacks that get dealt the over excessive force. You guys have heard me talk about Derek Hale on here before. Wilmington, DEL police killed him in cold blood. No mass protests over that one.

Yep, it happens to all races, all types. At least you took a couple out before taking your beating, most don't get that opportunity. Don't get me wrong, i'm sure there some "good guys" on the force, but number don't lie with the rampant abuse on citizens.

I would suggest not bad mouthing the guy with the gun. That's just common sense.

One day eating lunch at a park in my truck watched a police officer drive up on the grass to tell the cars parked on the grass to move. He peels out and heads to me. I am parked in a parking space on the asphalt. He pulls up beside me and rolls down his window. He is all red in the face and looks pissed as hell. He yells can you farking read. Of course I thought of a few choice things to say but I opened my door to see what he was talking aboot and I might have had a tire touching a blade of grass. I took the truck out of gear and rolled back an inch and closed my door and window without ever saying a word. The dude literally did donoughts in the park to tell people they were killing the grass.lol

We all make mistakes, Chevy. At least you are one that takes responsibility for your decision.
I know and have known a lot of cops in my years. I have met a lot of real good ones, and a few rotten apples. It sucks when we have to deal with the rotten ones--they can suck.
Maybe it is different here up North than down where you live. I can depend on our cops here to do the right thing (usually).

Nah. It won't be the same for surfing... Skateboarding is "illegal" because business owners complain about their curbs and rails being damaged. And patrons being put off by a group of kids in front of their stores.
    Surfing is different.

I got stopped once for skating drunk.i know he didn't stop me for riding "funny",he stopped me because 2 minutes earlier I bought a dutch right infront of him, then skated home.

he rides up like have u been drinking,im like yea!! lol.cop was cool tho didn't give me no problem,he just searched me to see if I had any bud and I didn't so...I rode away.that I think is the only time I got messed with by a cop for skating.

it all comes down to where ur skating.if ur skating in the city at a school or someplace with plenty of rails and stairs, the cops will phuck with u.but its kind of common sense u know, people are working inside and don't want some kid to break his leg on their property doing skating tricks and get sued

but if ur skating a spot out of the public u never have any problems.i grew up in an apt complex and skated there, never got messed with by the cops.other people, not so lol

    this guy gets it. lol:cool:

surfers don't get hassled unless it the middle of the summer and ur trying to surf near the sunbathers.nobody is on the beach in the winter except surfers and 1 brave fisherman.plus u drown at a beach,u cant sue the town or anything.

skateboarding, people get injured a lot.letting some kids skate and then they get hurt and u get sued so

    I think I stand corrected--you are correct.
But some towns just "don't like surfers".
    Laws are not always rational.
Having said that, we shall see over the next few years, how it develops.

Nothing wrong with law enforcement, supposedly it there to better society but those laws need to be made clear. If you are not clear on them, or they are not made clear for the public, to see, in any given place, I feel it is a form of entrapment and an over- extension of the law. The answer...mo signs. Long haired freaky people need not comply.

And,oh yea...skateborting is not a crime but it depends on the criminal.
