Skil 100 planer

    Wow that's purdy. Looks like it's in great shape... looks can be deceiving though. Wish I had some extra loot sitting around to find out.

    don't think they make the 100 anymore and it is the go to planer for all major shapers

    o Barry... These are 3-4 Times the price of a new Plastic Planer. So going new is the cheap way. Go used, don't be cheap.
    However, I'm not quite sure the desirability of these are quite on par with the price. I'm not too sure I'd be willing to pay near or over a thousand for one.
    But, if an experienced shaper can get thousands of boards out of a single skil100 over many years, they pay for themselves.

    If I could go back in time, I would:

    1) Buy stock in Microsoft and Apple
    2) Bang a few of girls that got away
    3) Buy a Skil 100

    ...and it's the 7.5 amp. Very good tool. They don't make 'em like that anymore.
