I don't think anyone under 21 gets your Rodney King reference either.

Obviously you like patting yourself on the back that is a nice compliment by the fisherman. If you would have noticed the surf lessons going on out there with kids for there first time out that were getting cut off. The father and son in green rip curl suits are good friends of mine. Im glad you have so much respect for them. so keep doing what your doing your very talented. The kid in white rashguard!!!!!!!!

Hoooo braa, dis spot gets choke wit haoli sufas and skimmas and is not like your typical shore pound beachbreak. A very distinct setup indeed, almost like a mini point at certain times. At certain sizes and tides (knee to waist maybe chest on the right amount of sand buildup) it can accommodate both skim and surf. When it gets bigger its for the most part unskimmable but when it's tiny it's a nice liner off a sand point. It changes almost every day. One day it is worthless the next it's good. Very fickle place. aloha bra ala ala pono moana!

You guys are killing me and I deserve every bit. I guess I can't relate to such an odd set up. There is no mixing of the surf and skim any place I've ever surfed. Nice use of the pigeon Plover. I needed a laugh. Now quit *****ing about getting dropped in on!!! :)

I agree. I don't know what's worse any more, reading about it or it actually happening..

That's a close call. Guess I'm lucky. It's not a big issue here even though we have a pretty good crowd. We police our own and southerners are generally kinda friendly.

If that's not a classic pump up/party song, I don't know what is. Anthem.

I'd always put it in that "no news is good news" category where there's so much overexposure of the satanic filth regurgitated from the Tri-State area onshore, offshore, and inland, it's gotta be a decent setup of life if you don't hear anything bad about it even if you hear nothing at all about it. I'd keep my ear closer to the ground to the point of catching the occasional skinny on DE, but once I start listening towards Yonkers, my ear drums are blown out. Could be the non-surgical cure for Surfer's ear. That's saying a lot because we spew a verbal Sanskrit worse than them Cajuns up here in Massholestonfieldville.

Pretty funny and cool when you realize the land overshadowed by its adjacent armpits of Jerz and MD E-shore may just be the eye of the storm. Perhaps buffered to the point of near perfection being sandwiched between economy-sized pallets of crab cakes and the filthy trade winds from Snookie et al, a Galapagos of skilled coastal skimmers and blonde 11s from the UDel campus has been spawned and preserved.

One consolation of the vapid shorelines of June is the hazing that the Bruins will continue giving the Pens this evening. Hope you enjoyed that 15-game win streak Sid, but your boys are going down early like they did in 92-93 after winning 17 straight in the reg.

So yah, brah, how bout that skimmy vs. LB celebrity death match coming up? My money's on the dude who can pull off the 1440 asymptomatic of vertigo.

I'm gonna steal my own thunder from that last post and offer up the proposal for an East Coast Kumite between surfers, skimmers, cyclists, Massholes, Jerzheads, and any other group, sect, or denomination that can sanction themselves for a winner-take-all, ethnocentric warfare. The winner really can take all. The whole East Coast.

Not that I can really take credit for this as my brainchild. It was just staring me right in the eye when I happened to SKIM the thread titles on the board main page and noticed all these subcultures engaged in warfare. I made sure I was standing up though when I skimmed the front page just so an LB'er wouldn't cry drop-in.

That was beautiful Emass. I don't know how old you are but if you are under thrity I'm floored. Older than 30 I'm still impressed. See, I'm one who laments a day when the written word becomes a lost art.......

This thread could have gone classic because it presented the rare situation where we had some of the actors in the actual incident right here on ol' You don't see that too often. Skinboard Pro vs White Rash Gaurd Kid. Man, they are right here......right on this forum. Expected a bit more fireworks. Maybe even some insults aboot each other's sexuality.

Well, forget Memorial Day, let this be the unofficial start of summer. A 1-2' day at an nondescript Delaware shred peak, that launches the start of the summer madness. Man, I was out yesterday morning and was upset because I didn't have anyone to drop-in on. No one out, dudes. HA HA tuck into that one. A lone female did join me 15 yards down-the-way, but I'm an gentlemen's gentleman and wouldn't think of dropping-in on a women. Chivalry is alive and well in Southern New Jersey.

Compliments of the house, PJB. Glad you enjoyed that word salad I tried to call prose. As for my age, $hit, I don't even know how old I am. The state didn't even get my Y.O.B. correct on my last license so how should I know what my chronology is? All I know is that when I was 18 my father said I'd already lived the life of a 30 year-old man, but by now I just feel like a 15 year-old that can act like an adult most of the time and do some really grown up things some of the time.

True dat on the "that just happened" unfolding in front of us. I hope our collective jabberwocky didn't disrupt the symphonic flow of whatever that was and maybe we can get some reform of that wave. I feel like we were getting both the CNN and MTV version broadcasts of the incident, yet also behind the scenes hearing off the record impromptu dialogue and then having the always dependable leftist movement swoop in for their take. I'm with you on the lack of off-color onslaught regarding their respective orientations. Can we ad lib for them? Erock can usually be counted on for that type of Tom Foolery, but that chap's kept a bit to himself this week so maybe he needs some intestinal stimulation via the cocoa bean. A true Starbutts barista.

Nondescript. One of my favorite words. Alas, I do believe the onset of anarchy is beset by a serendipitous awkwardness experienced by its audience. I'd give anything for that quarrelsome 1-2' shred peak (what a term) today, as I'm left paddling in imperfect circles like a culled lobster in the 8-10 INCH mush that lay before me this week. You don't say, well boys, I bet you can't believe your eyes because in EMassonomics that equates to a paltry 2-3mm of mush.

Lucky bastard, typically having cats to drop in on. At my dawn patrol, I have to pull the drop-in on my alter ego or imaginary friends. I found myself in the same situation with a philly in the water last week but girl isn't even in the pop up stage yet so tough to snake a wave on her. Chivalry? Hail no. You can have it, while my cavalry is out in full force Darwining the crap out of anything to be naturally selected in sight.

Oh wait...the father of evolutionary theory is on the prohibited list on this here forum along with physical training for this sport, calling this sport a sport, taking this sport too serious as if to get better at this sport, vocabulario mas fuerte, spell check, and...wait, when did this sport have so many rules?

No rules and no holds barred in the gnar for a gnar generation gap riot on the beach of Delaware. Wanna let it burn wanna wanna let it burn!

No "butthurt" brah, just gets plugged into the laundry list of running comedy as identified by certain posters like yourself. We are all good at finding the lighter side of each other, and this is me doing that with you as you do me, brah!
