I've got a 6'8" Takayama Scorpion knock-off being shaped and need a bag. Basically I have it narrowed down to an XM or a Pro-Lite, based on price, size, and features. Does anyone have experience with an XM? I used to have a ProLite bag I liked alot, but the XM is $30 less and has 10mm foam. Thoughts?

i don't know the differance beteen the XM and ProLite. The most important feature of any board bag is color. White or Silver will reflect the sun. but if you're trying to get to your super secret break you'll want more of a camo color.

Eventually the XM zipper will freeze in place (corrosion) or just plain fail. The only solution is to sew velcro all around or just buy yet another. DaKine has some nice bags, but unfortunately you generally have to settle for standard sizing no matter the brand name. Let us know what you get.

I can't offer any knowledge on a bag but I do really like the design of the scorpion. Have you ridden one before?
