good mix except the OJ, which is basically sugar water. and kale exists only to be tossed into a smoothie, where you won't taste it...
Kale tastes like dirt. Wet dirt. With an aftertaste like worms after a rain. So if you like that.......... OJ is only the mixer. Some acid... some water... some fructose.... As long as it's whole, fresh juice, there's nothing wrong with it. Better than sucrose or or anything with corn sugar, like sour mix.
In a blender, Blueberries, blackberries, rasberries. One banana Some protein powder. Some almond milk ice sometimes, I'll throw some granola in. one shot of Jack Daniels Mix it up.
My wife started a smoothie regime 4 days a week, with organic and homegrown bananas, pineapple, mangos, and guava. Add some blckberries, raspberries, strawberries, and agave nectar. All to cover up the taste of what we call "The Green ****": Made by Suja, - the Mighty Dozen - it available in Costco in a big jug. Non GMO, vegan, cold pressed, organic blah blah blah, it tastes like grass soup. Apple, celery, cucumber, collard greens, lemon, mint tea, spinach, ginger, spirulina, chlorella, barley grass, and alfalfa sprouts. Yummmy! Once properly blended, the whole concoction is muy delicioso! Sipping on it now. Sweet, tart, no hint of green. Amazing.
Blend your vegetables, eat your fruits. Otherwise you're just turning complex sugars into simple ones. That being said I'll throw a mango or some oranges in my smoothie to make them sweet. Then usually a combination of carrots, beats, kale, blueberries, bananas, ginger, and finally almond milk to get the consistency right.
You guys all sound queer with these recipes. Drink Scotch, bourbon, whiskey instead of all that namby-pamby mommies milky tit crap.
My boss makes his own and pushes them on everyone in the office. He brought in a sour cream one that made my eyes water. That stuff is for old people with dead taste buds
The sour cream doesn't sound good at all. Just a better alternative to devouring a whole bag of potato chips.
