i didnt see anything over 6ft. maybe some doh at rodanthe a few days ago. say 10 in delray looks like 6.
I think it's a little over called, they're saying 9 ft in va beach tomorrow but I doubt it. but 4.5 ft at 14 seconds NE and 2 ft at 7 seconds out of the north at rodanthe with stiff offshores. That means some of the waves could come together into monster sets, which I'm sure they will. Curious to see what it looks like in the morning
Rough idea of an average set wave size in Maryland this afternoon. There were mo bigger ones...but those mostly went unridden due to unruly shape at least when I was looking
they called for over head in NJ, some sets maybe were there, maybe. i was also there at dead low so maybe mid tide it was better... the only time i could go though. anyone in NJ see any houses roll through
Yeah. We'd be willing to put up with old people and stupid people for that mos def. What brought you to NJ, other than 23-fotters?
family not gonna do 5 weeks in the cold again I dont think out of 26 surfing years, 21 winters: 5 winters were in FL, 11 in NJ, 1 in Cali, 1 in Spain and 3 in HI like HI best so far
we've gone over this Cadiz / El Palmar and Ericiera in Portugal for 3 months till the Schengen ran out here till dec 29th scoring all day tomorrow from 10am on.......
Yeah,,, had 6-8ft here in the south, on all websites. I didn't see anything over waist high. Hurt my feelings.
Beautiful shot. Did a look-see at dusk yesterday and 11AM today at Dam Neck (VB). Maybe 5 ft. Not the 9 to 12 ft forecasted or reported on some sites.
redux: “Also of note there’s good agreement that the low will drop back south offshore over the Western Atlantic on Sunday and redevelop,” finishes Watson. “We’re not done yet!”
Not sure who Watson is, or who hes in agreement with, but it looks pretty small from Friday into next week.
