I use my soft rack which snaking the Honda Accord to get to the beach instead of my surf vehicle or when traveling. I have not figured out how to get rid of the buzz and the floppiness of the rack. Any tricks to suggest. Mahala

Loud music was the only thing that worked for me.

give the straps that come through the vehicle a twist. the buzzing is caused by the high-velocity vibration of the straps at highway speeds.

1-2 twists between the windows and the pads will get rid of the buzzing.

    ditto

Correct. I use an empty plastic bottle and wedge it tight under the strap on the roof. It tightens and holds the strap in place to prevent it from vibrating to the point of making noise. It looks weird but it works well.
