looking to buy a used car with soft top convertible (mini cooper s) any thoughts on how to carry a longboard to the beach in the winter time when you can't put the top down?

You can put it horizontally through the two back windows. Just make sure you don't drive too fast or you'll take off like an airplane.

I think I've seen that, but only in the summer with foreign plates :)

Maybe put some big ol wheels on the board and put the mini on top of it and ride that B**** like a skate board?

Why can't you put the top down in the winter, what are you a wus? You carry the board the same way Wingnut and O'Connell did in Endless Summer II.

Does mini cooper have a zippered rear window? I carried a 9' 8" in
a Mazda miata, nose in passenger area, tail thru rear
window. Very tight fit but it worked.

get a removable hard top with some nice racks mounted to it. Expensive but proper. And badass.

edit nevermind, they don't make 'em. You're screwed. Get a beater truck or something.

Get one of those Fiats and strap at least 4 of RS's biggest kindling yachts all over that sucker. Make sure they're nose first and deck up.

Did you take this picture? There is actually a dude from Wilmington that does this. Same color Mini, but I've only seen him cruising around with a 10'+ yellow longboard with a red stripe. I see him all the time driving around CB, but I'm sure he lives over the bridge.

I saw some chick texting and driving yesterday. I was so pissed. I rolled down my window and threw my beer at her.

Thanks for killing my productivity for the day.

**** like this really grinds my gears. 'Nose first' is one thing, but 'wax up' is quite the treat.

Hey RobG, we should have snapped a picture of that dude last night. Can anyone tell me how a 6' 220lb dude can surf a 5' potato chip with no wax?

    It's all for the ladies.

find a metal fabricator, if you don't have skill, to make you a removable rack system. have them secure 4 cups on each end of your bumpers and make goal post looking device to slip into the cups. put a cotter pin holes to keep the whole deal from blowing off.
