Do you mean, Thai Rice Cakes? If so, I was shown one time how to make them, but I haven't made them myself, yet. They are redonkulous! I looked up a couple recipes, but they are not like I was taught. I just can't remember the recipe.

Cucumber salad is pretty easy. Thin slices cucumber, red onion, Thai chili peppers, sugar, salt and white vinegar. You can add a little more sugar, vinegar or peppers to suit your taste.

Thanks sheet! Those are the Harbor Freight Kitchen Series. Ha Ha

Hanna, I can't remember exactly what all was in the rice cakes. I know it was rice, lemon grass, fish sauce, lime and some other stuff. Then you form the cake in your palm, dip it in egg wash and pan fry it in oil.

My woman's mom is Thai, I get spoiled whenever we visit. My favorite is larg gai, it's a ground chicken dish. That and green papaya salad.

Yes, sir!! Hey, if you like Thai green curry, try this. Add some fish sauce, a spoon full of sugar and some Thai peppers. I also add some fresh greenbeans. Sometimes I'll add a little heavy cream if I need it to go a little further. its not authentic, but it's pretty damn good.

Yeah, we use a lot of coconut milk. We go to her parents for the holidays and I think I am going to gain 30lbs, but a lot of Thai food isn't very fattening! Until I introduce Campbell's... LOL Her mom probably wouldn't let me make this at her house. HA HA

Dude I love larb gai. My girlfriend makes it for me and we eat it with cabbage leaves. Not too bad for you either!

    Is that swordfish? Looks good!

I usually eat it with sticky rice or romaine lettuce leaves. Yeah, no fat and the capsaicin in the Thai peppers get that metabolism moving. The lettuce is better for you than the sticky rice. HA

Headhigh, check out that plate of Larb and the papaya salad some sticky rice, thai pineapple salsa, noodles for summer rolls. My rollin skills aren't too bad, either. Dammit, I need to trip to NC to visit my woman's parents now! HA
