We've had a really good run of waves this Thanksgiving week. The forecast looks OK for this afternoon but I'm surfed out and plan to be on the couch watching some games, eating leftovers and having a few beverages. Hope everyone got to surf....here's few from this week:
Here's a frame grab from the local cam this morning...Emass, remember that crappy shorebreak place during your last visit?
Sunday morning bumps - Delmarva. The smallness being helped immensely by the 60 degree sunny weather.
couple photos of myself courtesy of a friend who shoots for stay abovethe weather. Swell is from the 10th of this month and pics are right before sunset when it started dredging off a shallow sandbar at low tide
little sequence of a guy shredding an OH peak at our reef break. You can barely make him out, but, to help with the scale, there's a guy standing on the rocks in the bottom right hand corner of the second pic. Weird thing about this day was there were about 20 guys on it about 15 min before I took the pics...then it rained for about a min and everybody bailed, except one guy...the waves were still great! (I only got out because I lost a contact...and I had already surfed for about 4 hrs). Sorry for the pic quality...I really need to get rid of this awful phone.
