got DOH+ xtra long period at the beach breaks couple days ago, which sent everyone running for the coves. Even though I figured the reefs would be horribly overcrowded (plus the ton of exposed seaweed at lower tide), I decided to just check. Only 17 guys out at dawn...RUN! my phone camera blows, but I'll contribute, anyway. This reef is mostly a suuuper long reeling right (see the dude shredding on the pic's left hand side), but there's also a short left.
Looks fun mitchell, I remember a picture you posted last winter with the ice floe out the back, hope we aren't in for another winter like that.
Today....winds never really went offshore as forecast, but stayed nice and light. Managed to squeeze two sessions in and shoot a few pics.
Nice! Thanks Ryan. Looks like it has some nice shape to it. Clean all day, and warm too- wish I was there. Instead I'll be surfing in sleet tomorrow. Hopefully.
Wow....that does looks fun! I scored some decent chest to shoulder high waves here in NC. The forecast looks really promising for tomorrow. Seems like we always get good surf on Thanksgiving week (and Christmas)
It was a feast in the water last year on Wed/Thursday. This storm is tracking a little further east than last year's storm. I'll take anything on Thanksgiving. http://www.hark.com/clips/ytbztjpdtq-good-cause-ill-take-anything Ryan
