Sooo is this part of the forum dead?

Still kinda new and stoked as ever about our lil surf here in Texas. I've been going at it since mid January and got my first real board which is a 8'0 Stewart Hydro Hull with stock fins and the most gnar looking baby blue and pink leash I got for free lol. Anyways I was hoping to meet some of the guys on here because the 4 spots I go to all the time and surprisingly I rarely see anyone. its usually just my brother in law and I. I don't like going to the sea wall for the fact of having to watch out for kids bothers me. that and having to stop at a point due to the jetty, poles, or something. Not sure how many guys are still active on here but, I have my hopes!

 

Lol that's the biggest question! where do you post the introduction?! It's not girlfriend anymore, it's wife actually and what's funny she's a car model too. we don't need to talk about the leash! it was free and sadly I have taken a fancy to it.

 

Gentlemen I present you, Mrs. Gonzalez. the wetsuit ones are kept for myself. ;p she's not short but, let's just say she's flexible. She can sort of cook but, it's having to teach them the right way and not the pot smoking mother way.

I'm out in Humble actually but, of course go where the surf is. I usually go off of Jamaica Beach (2 spots) and the one is a lil ways down before the toll bridge to surfside. I'm going out this weekend because one of the spots due to the 2 sand bars that go parallel to each other. found out it causes good over heads with a 2-4 swell. if you guys like to check it out pm me and maybe we can get a good lil group out there. I'm going Friday evening and won't leave till Sunday evening.
