I hear ya man, I live up in the mid atlantic and surf NJ weekly but I have spent a good amount of time down in CB as well. I love it down there, just the overall vibe of the area is so relaxed and moves at a much slower pace than up here. Hopefully I'll be seeing you out in the lineup down there soon.
I will take a cold, reeling 5-8 foot day out here in the banks over a 2-3 foot paper thin wave any and every day. Happy you caught it good though. I can wait for the spring swells and warm water.
ive surfed lake mich in summer ouch.....guys out today , 37 waTER TEMP. 50 ? air. i dont see myself gettin stinky boots or gloves anytime soon. i asked my ex to sew me a rooster hoodie and she did. (musta thought i was a Co@k) hee hee
